MorphVOX Voice Changer Software can be used with audio editors like Sony Sound Forge.  Sound Forge is a professional-grade tool for editing audio clips for movies, animations and other sound-related projects. Sound Forge can be found at the Sony Media Software Site

You easily intergrate MorphVOX voice changer with some minor adjustments in Sound Forge. MorphVOX can be used as the recording source, providing a seamless experience for your audio creation. Here's how to set that up:

1. Run Sound Forge
2. Click the Record Button
3. The following dialog will display. 
4. Set the "Device:" to "Screaming Be Audio Driver".

 

 

** Sound Forge 9 Users: Sony has removed the option to select the microphone. You will have to assign the Windows default microphone to the Screaming Bee Audio Driver. Click here for instructions on how assign the default microphone.


To test if your microphone is hooked up correctly do the following:

  1. Run MorphVOX
  2. Click on the "Record" button in the record dialog.
  3. Start talking.
  4. Click the "Stop" button and then the "Close" button in the record dialog.
  5. Click the play button in the main window to listen to the recording.

        * If the your voice is faint then you might want to click on boost microphone gain. 

    MorphVOX sound tips:

    1. Set the quality to highest by accessing MorphVOX/Preferences/Sound Settings.
    2. Reduce the microphone volume if you get distortion or feedback.
    3. Try other voice packs for more variety of voices.
